Famous Fashion for a Fraction of the Price!

  • It seems no matter where a celebrity has been, how many cocktails they put away the night before, or how many hours sleep they have had, they always seem to look flawless when out in public. With this often being the work of a skilled (and no doubt expensive) tribe of make-up artists, hairdressers and personal stylists, it can be easy to give up hope and resort to slumping into the sofa in your PJs. But whilst it is tempting to flick through celebrity gossip magazines looking at them in awe – there are other options! Here we show you how to create the style of some of your favourite celebs without leaving you out of pocket...

    • Victoria Beckham – VB has the ability to look stylish, smart and chic all in one go. Take inspiration from the queen of fashion and team loose fitting blouses with skinny jeans for a smart/casual look. Zara has some beautiful minimalist blouses in their sale at the moment with prices starting at just £12.99. For some VB style skinny jeans try Topshop’s ‘Leigh’ jeans. Available in a variety of colours these soft skinnies are comfortable and still leave you room to move around, which is good as skinny jeans can be tight and uncomfortable if they do not fit well. No VB look would be complete without some killer heels and finish the outfit with some classic VB style statement sunglasses – the bigger the better.
    • Sienna Miller – Sienna’s style is feminine and casual, often wearing pretty floral dresses in pale pastel shades complimenting her fair hair. Sienna is also often spotted in relaxed clothing so loose fitting tees and sweaters worn with jeans or cropped trousers. For floral dresses like Sienna’s you can visit the ASOS website, for a wide range of styles and cuts to choose from. Sienna’s hair always looks healthy soft and shiny and she often opts for loose waves which can be created by using mousse on damp hair before blow drying and scrunching your hair through your hands as you dry.
    • Emma Watson – Since starring in the Harry Potter films Emma has become a style icon and has been on the cover of some of the world’s most prestigious fashion magazines. Emma has an elegant and classy style and can be seen in both smart and casual clothes depending on the occasion. To red carpet events Emma often wears formal floor length gowns. This is a look that can easily be recreated and transformed into day wear with the help of a maxi dress – which can be found in almost all of the high street stores at the moment as they are stocking up for summer. Mango has a good selection of smart/casual maxi dresses which can be worn through the day and dressed up with heels and a clutch bag for evening do’s.

Looking as fab as our favourite celebs doesn’t have to mean hiring a personal stylist. Take a look at their style and pick out key pieces that could be found on the high street. Add your own accessories for your personal touch and there you have it – a celeb trend without the high spends.
